Unable to use PayPal with transfers in to Hover

We are unable to accept PayPal as the method of payment for transfer in orders.  We do not collect payment for transfers until the domain transfer has been completed.  Because transfers can take 5-7 days to complete, and PayPal does not allow merchants to wait more than 24 hours to capture funds on a pending transaction, our system can use PayPal for renewals and new registrations only.  We apologize for the inconvenience.

Please clarify.  Does this mean that if I have a link on my page for people to click to make a donation to me, for example, that will not work?

PayPal payment links on your own website will still work.  Hover does not accept PayPal as a payment method for transferring domain names to us, but this does not stop you from accepting PayPal on your own website.

I used my PayPal debit card, I guess that helps if you have one.  Also no coupon code area :(

Have you considered giving the customer the option to pay upfront for the transfer using paypal?

I only learned this evening that I couldn't use paypal when I went to transfer in and it made me a little sad because I had to turn off domain privacy meaning my information is available until I can use my mastercard =(
