To change an existing email password
1. Sign in to your Hover account online at https://www.hover.com/signin If you cannot signin, please reset your password.
2. Click the Email tab.
3. Mouse over the email address and click the password link.
4. Type your new password and then click Submit.

Hi, I don't know if I'm doing something wrong but on the edit line I don't have the option of changing the password. Basically I'm trying to activate a second email address I created here through my Gmail account and I don't know what password I'm supposed to use....help please!
Not to worry, it was a lot easier than I realised!
This is fine for me, since I am the account holder for the domain; but what about all the users at the domain who may want to change their email passwords? They can't sign in, because they don't have Hover accounts. They don't need access to the complete domain settings; they just want to change the password for a single email account.
Neil, as long as they already know their passwords, they can change them under Settings in their webmail accounts (at https://mail.hover.com). If they don't, they will need the account administrator to reset them for them though.
Cannot change the password on an account. When I navigate to manage my email I have an option to amend password. When I type a new password, I get a message "Oops! Something went wrong. Please try later". Why do I have to try later - why cannot I just change the password?
I'm getting the same problem as chris grantham, and I have confirmed it's doing the same thing in Firefox, chrome and IE

Alexandra, your email address with Hover is a Forward only address, which doesn't have a webmail account to log into. It just forwards on to whichever address you selected it to forward it to.

Hi Elina, if this option is available on your Google account and doesn't require a mailbox or password, it should work. Google may not allow the e-mail to come through for verification if you're forwarding to the same Gmail address through, since they consider that a loop.Thanks for the question!
I am also not seeing the "Edit: password" option. Is there a current issue with this?
Hi Lauren, thanks for the question. Passwords aren't available on forward only e-mail addresses. There are no current issues regarding our e-mail management.
Is there no document similar to this, that shows the process of changing a password from within an email account? I can't seem to find one and would like to be able to send it to clients who I'm providing Hover email to.

Hello, I tried to change my password in hover mail because I cannot set the email in mail, but when I'm on the email address with the cursor I don't have the option password.I tried in my laptop and imac to set the email but it never works.

Hi Emanuela, forward only addresses do not include a mailbox so it's not possible to set a password for the address or connect the address to an email client. Here is a link to the different email options we offer and the small and big include mailboxes: https://www.hover.com/email
This doesn't work. The site appearance has changed and the email link at the top only takes me to an option of purchasing email accounts. I have several and have had them for about 20 years from netidenity. NONE of my e-mail accounts show up on my account email page, so not only can I not reset my wife's password, I can't renew my accounts that are coming up. Please update your site so that I can access and manage my accounts!
The emails in your account can be managed from within your control panel after logging in at http://hover.com/login. You can also change the password for email addresses in your account.
