Safe Senders
Adding a sender's email address to your Safe Sender List will ensure that their email does not get marked as spam. This lesson explains how to use the Safe Sender List.
Please note: The Block and Safe Sender Lists have a combined limit of 300 entries.
Mark Sender as Safe - Method 1
Select an email message from a sender you want marked as safe, then Click on More Options and click on Safe Sender.
Mark Sender as Safe - Method 2
1. Select Mail under Settings
2. Click on the Blocking tab
3. Enter the email adddress to mark as safe then click on Add.
Wildcards, such as *@hotmail.com, are useful if you want to ensure all senders using a specific email service are marked as safe. Make sure you are entering in the email address that will show in their "Return-Path." You can check the return path in the email message headers as it should be the first line.
