Email Server Settings
Hover uses the following server names:
Incoming mail server: mail.hover.com
Outgoing mail server: mail.hover.com
Username: Your full email address in lowercase letters
Ports:
Incoming Port Number : 143 for IMAP and 110 for POP3
Outgoing Port Number : All of the following are can be used: 25 (default), 587, and 8025
Login Authentication:
Do not turn on SPA (Secure Password Authentication) in your email software and be sure that your incoming authentication method is set to password, not MD5-Challenge. Also be sure that you turn on outgoing authentication and that it is set to password and not MD5-Challenge.
SSL is supported by Hover and is optional. When using SSL the outgoing port number should be set to 465 and the default incoming mail ports should be used: 995 for POP3 and 993 for IMAP.
